Can’t remember the Chinese or Korean name of this veggie ( herb ) … ?

Chinese/Korean restaurants the part of NJ I used to live in ( Bergen Co. ) served these a lot. All of the Asian produce markets carried them. They look exactly like green grass, but slightly wider. The very bottoms are white. In English I believe it is called either Chinese chives or Garlic Chives. I knew and asked for it by the Chinese ( or Korean?) name… but now I can’t for the life of me remember it! I have found photos of it on line, but not the Chinese name.
They are delicious stir fried, and I am on a mission to find it in this hick town I live in now.
Thanks, but it’s not scallions. It’s not quite as long, and it’s thinner. No bulb to speak of at the bottom.
