Anti Aging Diet
Anti aging diets seem to be, all the rage, these days… Calorie restriction, leading the pack. It seems to be having some very good results for people, but we are here to talk about more than just a diet — An Anti Aging Diet. Diets that can add some quality years to your life… And, enhance every aspect of your life, too!
Besides, the essentials… You know, the vitamins the body needs to rejuvenate itself.
- Vitamin A - easily found in, dark leafy green vegetables, cod liver oil, dairy products & sweet potatoes.
- Vitamin B1 - is vital for the bodies ability to process carbohydrates. Whole grains are a good source.
- Vitamin B2 - besides many other things, it helps the body convert food to energy. Almonds, asparagus, eggs & meat are all a good source.
- Vitamin B3 (niacin) - Key role in converting food to energy. Turkey, chicken, peanuts
- Vitamin B6 - can be found in fortified cereals, fortified soy-based meat substitutes, baked potatoes with skin, bananas, light-meat chicken and turkey, eggs, and spinach. It’s vital for a healthy nervous system, and helps break down proteins and stored sugars.
- Vitamin B12 - is needed for creating red blood cells, and can be found in beef, clams, mussels, crabs, salmon, poultry, and soybeans. A great source of vitamin B is rice bran syrup!
- Folic acid - It’s vital for cell development, prevents birth defects, promotes heart health, and helps red blood cells form.
- Vitamin D - can be found in egg yolks, salmon & egg yokes but can also be made by the body from sunlight exposure. It’s needed to process calcium and maintain the health of bones and teeth.
- Vitamin C - is essential to the immune system. Is found in; citrus fruits, berries, brussels sprouts. The best form of vitamin c is found naturally in plants, then dried at a low temperature into a powder.
- Iron - Is needed to transport oxygen to all parts of the body via the red blood cells. Found in leafy green vegetables, beans, shellfish, red meat, poultry & soy foods.
- Protein - Every living cell and all body fluids, except bile and urine, contain protein. It is the main component of muscles, organs, and glands. It can be found in foods like beans, milk, meat (poor quality protein, coagulated and not easily digested). A superior form of protein comes from plant based foods (almonds, bee-pollen, goji berries, hemp & pumpkin seeds).
- Essential fatty acids - play a part in many metabolic processes. Good sources are fish and shellfish, flaxseed, canola oil, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, leafy vegetables, and walnuts.
- Carbohydrates - provide energy for the body, especially the brain and the nervous system. Complex carbohydrates are the best choice for your blood sugar level. Whole grain breads, legumes, and starchy vegetables are all good complex carbohydrates.
These are just some of the basics, we should all be consuming, on a daily basis. But, how we get these vitamins & minerals is all changing… That is, if you want to actually get the benefits of all these nutrients. If we can make a few different choices on how we get, just the essentials… we can easily turn back the clock.
Calling this a "diet" would be dooming it to failure… Diets never really seem to do what they claim, do they? A longevity diet is a whole different story. These are choices you are deciding to make on a daily basis. They will not only benefit you physically… They will help your mind & spirit.
Whether it’s losing weight, adding a few quality years, just getting in shape.., whatever the reason. With all the anti aging research that has been done, just in the last few years, we are slowly coming to the conclusion, that true longevity has nothing to do with a pill or needle.
And it’s not as hard as you might think… Superfoods have been suppling people with optimal health for centuries. The Goji Berry, for example… Is probably the most nutrient rich fruit on the planet!!! And they taste great! They are considered the #1 food or herb in over 5,000 years of Chinese medicine. One of the best anti aging & strength building superfoods. It is a complete protein source, containing 18 amino acids, 21 trace minerals, B1, B2, B6, vitamin E & polysaccharides to fortify the immune system. And, it’s the only food known to stimulate the body to produce more Hgh (human growth hormone) naturally, not that synthetic crap!
Why isn’t EVERYBODY eating this?!
Easy.., they just don’t know. They think eating an orange is the best way to get their vitamin C, when all they are doing is becoming more acidic, which is perfect environment for getting sick. Again & again. You know, some people get sick the same time every year… Over and over.
With the addition of some superfoods you can change all that… While, taking health and longevity to the next level. This is science, folks. This is what it’s telling us… Anti aging nutrition is where it’s at!
Longevity anti aging diets are for real. They work… And once you start, results come pretty quick.
